A result of the culmination of intense research and design, the Riedell Elara ice skating boot utilizes new materials and design to offer top level skaters the ultimate in support and lightweight performance. The Elara provides the most demanding skater with features and design that offers the highest level of fit, comfort, support, and performance in the figure skating world.

The Elara is built on the new and innovative EvoFit last which features a broader toe shape that allows toes to lay flat. EvoFit provides the skater with optimal comfort, a snug heel fit for improved control, while a higher heel, made of cork and leather, offers maximum impact deflection and better forward foot position. A pre-formed fit makes for a better wrap around the ankle, allowing for easier break-in and better fit right out of the box. The Elara is ergonomically-shaped to promote the proper range of motion, support, and comfort all while naturally contouring to the shape of the foot, so little to no heat molding required. The new tongue design on the Elara features strategically-placed reinforcements and Neoprene padding to prevent lace bite and a tongue keeper and lace loop help minimize tongue rotation.

The Elara’s moisture resistant Hydro-Sheild outsole is made out of lightweight thermoplastic urethane which provides rigid foot support and maintains highly consistent blade tracking, while an EVA cushioned midsole provides great impact absorption. The outer portions of the boot are constructred from a military grade microfiber material that has incredibly strong tensile strength and is abrasion and cut resistant. Finally, the Elara is outfitted with sparkling details. It’s elegant cutouts accented with inset crystals are sure to turn heads on the ice!
