The Riedell Vega ice skating boot is designed using many of the same features as the Elara but is intended for skaters doing single & double jumps. Built to provide the skater with medium firm ankle support and material features that offer pure comfort and fit, the Vega is sure to give you top performance.

The Vega is built on the new and innovative Evofit last which features a broader toe shape that allows toes to lay flat. Evofit provides the skater with optimal comfort, a snug heel fit for improved control and a higher heel for better forward foot position. The boot comes with a pre-formed fit for better wrap around the ankle which allows for an easier break-in and better fit right out of the box and is ergonomically-shaped to promote proper range of motion, support, and comfort and naturally contours to the shape of the foot, so little to no heat molding required. The new tongue design on the Vega features strategically-placed reinforcements to prevent lace bite and a tongue keeper and lace loop to keep the tongue in position. The uppers are crafted from a military grade pebble grain microfiber material has incredibly strong tensile strength and is abrasion and cut resistant.

Vega’s Hydro-sheild outsole is made out of lightweight thermoplastic urethane that will not absorb moisture or ice shavings and provides rigid foot support and maintains highly consistent blade tracking. The EVA cushion midsole provides great impact absorption and the overall shortened outsole design allows for easy and consistent blade maneuverability. 

Finally, we’ve outfitted the Vega with sparkling details, featuring elegant stitching accented with inset crystals that will surely turn heads on the ice!
